Treating Mental & Emotional Imbalances without Drugs
By Anne Procyk, ND
By understanding the underlying biochemical and physiological imbalances which can manifest as depression, anxiety and other mental emotional disorders, naturopaths can eliminate symptoms and restore health by returning the body to balance.
This lecture will describe some of the more common nutritional, environmental and hormonal problems which can impact mood and mental function, as well as treatment options for restoring balance.
There will be information on how these therapies can integrate with more conventional pharmaceutical treatments when necessary, and reduce negative side effects.
Time will be spent analyzing how these interventions can enhance talk therapy, often leading to more stable and permanent improvement.
Dr. Anne Procyk provides holistic family healthcare to people of all ages, bringing a scientific background and dedication to the art of healing to her general naturopathic and homeopathic practice at Natura Medica since 2004.
