The Fleet and Family Support Center Sub Base Groton and MilitarySEEDStm will sponsor an Entrepreneur Expo on September 10, 2009 at the Shepherd of the Sea Chapel. 235 Gungywamp Road Groton, CT. Registration 8:30 a.m. 9:00 – 2:30 PM.. This event is intended to assist veterans and those Military Members who are in transition from Active Duty and Military Spouses who would like to learn about opportunities available to become a small business owner. There will 26 floor Exhibitors from Home based business to major Franchises available to meet and gather information on how their company can work for you. The event is open to the public.
The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Alicia Farrell phd. There will be ongoing workshops, including: Getting start-up funding, Managing and marketing your business, Bidding on Contracts and MilitarySEEDStm workshops on Finding Your Passion.
