The Town of Groton has completed construction of a new Animal Control Facility that replaces the original facility first built in 1952. The new facility, designed to be visitor friendly and efficient, is approximately 4,400 square feet in size and is located at the Town Hall Annex Complex, to the rear of the Police Station. Its new location provides the separation of the Animal Control operations from the Public Works operations, resulting in less stress on the animals and safer access for the residents.
